Blanket Stitch

Step 1: Draw two parallel lines as a guide. 


Step 2: Begin by bringing the needle up at point A (bottom line).
Next, pass the needle through the fabric at point B (top line) and bring it up at point C (bottom line). Make sure that the thread is UNDER the needle.


Step 3: Pull the thread up making a loop. Repeat Step 2 a little farther apart from point B, as shown in the picture below. 


Continue in the same way for any length you desire.




To end, make a small stitch as shown below.
